Here to help you in planning your stay with us are some answers to most frequently asked questions. If you do not see what you need here, just contact us.
1. Booking Information
Privacy Policy
Any information that you provide to us will, unless you state otherwise, we will use to understand your lifestyle and send future information to you relating to any other products at Airth Castle Hotel & Spa.
We are committed to fully retaining any personal details for our use only.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees are fully applicable to any form of reservation, whether it be accommodation, leisure, spa, meeting & events or weddings.
Cancellation fees will vary depending on the booking and the timescale of the cancellation.
Full cancellation policies will be noted on your booking notes, letter or contract.
Any appointments at the Spa will be charged in full if not cancelled 24 hours before the time of the appointment.
We accept: Switch, Mastercard, Visa, Delta, American Express. No payment will be taken from your card until departure, however immediate charges will be made in the event of cancellation within 48 hours also for Festive Packages at Christmas & New Year, and any other special event times ie Easter, Valentines and any one off discounted special offers.
Other information- All room rates displayed are per person unless otherwise stated and are based on two people sharing a room
- There is no service charge and gratuities are entirely at your discretion
- Airth Castle Hotel & Spa reserves the right to at any time alter rates without prior notification
- In order to avoid disappointment it is advisable if you wish any beauty therapy at the Spa that it is made at the time of your reservation. We would also recommend that due to the popularity of our two restaurants that a dinner reservation is booked at time of initial reservation also.
- Any requests for Chauffeur drive or outdoor activity we require 14 days notice.

2. Car parking
Free, onsite, lit car parking for up to 300 cars
3. Car hire
We can arrange car hire from all Scottish airports, and locally from Perth, Stirling and Grangemouth – contact us – or why not enquire for a quotation on line at www.scotland-carhire.co.uk
4. Smoking
The hotel and enclosed public areas are completely non-smoking after the March 26th, 2006 Smoking Ban.
5. Currency and credit cards accepted
We accept £ sterling, $ and Euro, travellers cheques (us$, sterling and Euros) for a 10% handling charge, Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Solo, Electron. All cheques require to be accompanied by a valid bank card. We are happy to arrange account facilities for corporate customers
6. Medical and dental
24 local doctor/medical service available nearby. Dentist within 11 miles.
7. Pets
Well behaved dogs of any kind are welcome, subject to a nightly charge of £5. Can they please bring their own bedding. Dogs are not allowed in any of the public areas (except for guide dogs)
8. Disabled
Ramp accessible front door. Easy access to bars and public rooms, and a number of ground floor bedrooms are available, some of which are fully equipped for disabled guests.
9. Special diets
We cater for just about any special diets, but advance notice is preferred. Vegetarian options are available at all times in our lounges and restaurant
10. Children and families
Children of all ages are welcome. Lovely family rooms are available. Charges, when sharing with parents

12 - 15 years £15 B & B - - other meals charged as taken
Cots and high chairs are available. We do not have baby listening facilities.
11. Packed and picnic meals
Packed lunch menus are available – must be ordered by 20.00 the previous evening.
12. What is and is not included in price
All quoted prices are inclusive of VAT at the ruling rate. There is no service charge. Gratuities are at the customers’ discretion

Earliest check in 15.00, or earlier by prior arrangement
Latest check out – 11.00 or later by prior arrangement only where possible
13. Tour desk with ideas for trips and tours
We can help you plan distillery visits, steam railway trips, castle visits and tours, themed day tours, nights at the theatre, nature and heritage trails, guided walks and a host of outdoor and adventure activities on the local estates and surrounding countryside, rivers, hills and mountains.
14. How to get Here
Travelling from the west ( Glasgow)
From the M8 take the junction for the M80 heading for Stirling, from this road you then join the A80 and onwards to the A876 then the M9. From the M9 you will take Junction 7 ( Kincardine Bridge) M876 and follow this until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit off the roundabout towards Airth (A905). The hotel is approximately 600 metes along this road on the left and is well signposted.
Travelling from the east ( Edinburgh)
From Edinburgh take the A8 past the airport towards the Newbridge roundabout. From the roundabout take the 4 th exit on to the M9 towards Forth Road Bridge / Stirling. Stay on this motorway until you reach junction 7 and take this exit ( Kincardine Bridge) this will take you onto the M876 and follow this until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit off the roundabout towards Airth (905). The hotel is approximately 600 metes along this road on the left and is well signposted.
Travelling from the north ( Stirling)
From Edinburgh take the M9 south, signed for Edinburgh until you reach junction 7 and take this exit ( Kincardine Bridge) this will take you onto the M876 and follow this until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit off the roundabout towards Airth (905). The hotel is approximately 600 metes along this road on the left and is well signposted.
15. Valuables
Can be stored in our safe at reception.
16. Communications – email, fax, modem & facilities
Internet access and email facilities are also available at reception and there is a business centre in the hotel
17. Special occasions – if You’re celebrating one during your stay....we can make it memorable....
Champagne , chocolates, flowers, roses, piper. Four poster rooms. Many rooms have queen and king sized beds. Celebration cakes, gourmet packed lunches. Scottish, continental or champagne breakfast in bed by arrangement.
